A simple soft synth for Mac OS X that takes input from a connected MIDI device and can play instruments from Soundfonts and DLS files including Apple's default General MIDI sound set. Small but powerful!

Simplesynth is great if you want to be able to use Soundfonts. I do prefer Tune Buster for play-along use though, it is much louder than Simplesynth so it blends better with for instance iTunes.
