OnyX is a multifunction utility (maintenance, optimization, and personalization).
OnyX allows you to run misc system maintenance tasks, to configure hidden parameters of the Finder, Dock, Dashboard, Exposé, Safari, Login window and of some of Apple's own applications, to delete caches, to remove certain files and folders that may become cumbersome, to see the detailed info of your configuration, to preview various logs and CrashReporter-reports, to check the Preferences files and more.
Automatically check update, verify the status of the startup disk and the structure of system files at launch, parameter with precision the actions, modify the appearance of OnyX (metal or Aqua), increase the window transparency, chooose its icon and the toolbar icons among those proposed in the Preferences...
OnyX is delivered with Uninstall Onyx, an independent application allowing to individually remove the components created while installing and using OnyX (preferences, history, temporary folders...).

Need a new Mac or Ipod? But still need to save some moolah? Then an important site for all Mac Mavens to know about is the Special Deals section of the online Apple store. Go to the Apple Store and look for the special deals section at the bottom of the right hand column. And check back often, for the deals change frequently.
The standard one year limited warranty applies.
And while you're at it, check to see if you're eligible for the Education Discount. It's also listed on the same page.

OK, now let's get serious about getting Mac Goodies going. It took awhile to get the site set up the way it is, but ultimately, this site is about supplying useful information and helpful websites to Macintosh users, not just looking pretty, although I still will work on that too!
